Seems to work fine. As with the cable that directly plugs into the UV5X3 3800maH battery, first charged that battery in its holder on from a 12V SLA, then switched to AC line current to see whether it was fully charged. The red “no charge” light appeared and changed to green in a minute or less. Another handy piece of kit.
