How To Return An Item

Items shipped from BaoFengTech.com and our Amazon storefront can be returned within 30 days of receipt of shipment in most cases.

BaoFeng Tech will process your return and issue a full refund, minus a restocking fee, with no deduction for return shipping after receiving your return of the eligible product(s). If your return is not a result of a BaoFeng Tech error, we will not cover the shipping fees. No minimum purchase is required to receive Free Returns.

Restocking Fee

Items are subject to a restocking charge of the greater of: $5 or a 15% restocking fee. Additional deductions maybe incurred if the item is not returned in a reasonable condition. The customer is responsible for coordinating the returns through an RMA. Any shipping charges are not refunded in the event of a return.

Why do you charge a restocking fee? A restocking fee covers the costs that are incurred with the original shipping, packaging, and inspection of a product return.

Are restocking fees charged if BaoFeng Tech made a shipping error? No, in this case there is not a restocking charge with the item return.

Lost – Non Receipt Items

Customers are required to monitor the supplied tracking information provided by BTECH. BTECH cannot be responsible for monitoring individual deliveries and must be notified in the event of non-delivery. Customers are required to notify BTECH of non-delivery within 45 days from the latest provided tracking information. This policy is in place to assist with recovery of lost or undelivered packages, delivery partners (such as USPS) require notification of claims to be processed no later then 60 days from shipment.

International and Domestic Delivery (Tariffs and Import Duties)

Customers are required to be responsible for any import tariffs or customs duties that their country may require during delivery. The shipping itself is included in the original transaction purchase, but tariffs and duties are not. The customer is responsible for any and all additional charges assessed by the recipient’s country during delivery including: import charges, tariffs, or duty charges.

Warranty Repair

All of our radios sold through our BaoFeng Tech Amazon Storefront, BaoFengTech.com, or through one of our authorized distributors are eligible for a One Year Limited Warranty. Accessories (earpieces, chargers, additional radio components not including a tranceiver) and radio parts include a 90 day limited warranty. Customers will need to have proof of purchase and submit an RMA through our Product Repair RMA system. After the RMA request is sent, BaoFeng Tech will review and approve the RMA for your warranty request.  RMAs are valid for 30 days from date of issuance. The customer covers Shipping and delivery to our RMA Center. BaoFeng Tech will cover associated shipping costs to return the product after the repair has been completed. If the product is damaged beyond repair, a recertified maybe used for customer replacement.

If we find the radio or product was tampered, modified, or abused (water damage, undue physical harm, or any other events not found in normal use), a warranty repair may not be available. Only the faulty product or accessory should be sent.
